Um den Fans die Wartezeit auf ein neues Album zu verkürzen werden Meshuggah am 5. Februar 2010 die neue Live CD/DVD "Alive" veröffentlichen. Gefilmt wurde die DVD beim Konzert in diesem Jahr im Irving Plaza in New York City, bei dem es eine gute Auswahl an Songs aus dem gesamten Backkatalog der Band zu hören waren
