Die US Heavy Rock-Band KING KOBRA hat sich reformiert und wird ihr Comeback-Album "King Kobra" am 15. April via Frontiers Records veröffentlichen.
Die Band aus Los Angeles brachte 1985/86 zwei Alben heraus ("Ready To Strike"/"Thrill Of A Lifetime"), die Musiker wurden bekannt durch ihre späteren Bands. Das neue Album kommt in fast originaler Besetzung mit CARMINE APPICE (Drums: VANILLA FUDGE, HEAVEN AND HELL, CACTUS, OZZY OSBOURNE, BLUE MURDER), Mick Sweda (Guitar: BULLETBOYS), Johnny Rod (W.A.S.P.) und David Michael-Philips (Guitar: LIZZY BORDEN). Statt Ur-Sänger Mark Free (UNRULY CHILD, SIGNAL) hat PAUL SHORTINO (QUIET RIOT, ROUGH CUTT) die Vocals übernommen.
