Der ursprüngliche Impuls, das neue Album „Insect Angels & Devil Worms“ zu nennen, wurde von einem deutlich kürzeren Titel verdrängt: „Cypher“. Die Erklärung der Band:
„It´s different meanings. 1.) a secret code; 2.) a person and thing which has no importance (that fits well with the decadentian lyrics); 3.) in Latin it means ´empty´, which is nice, because the word empty is repeated in the lyrics.“
