Jedoch wollen Lee Altus und Co. erst einmal an einem Demo arbeiten und im Studio lediglich 2-4 Songs aufnehmen mit denen man sich schließlich bei den einschlägigen Labels bewerben will. Momentan sind HEATHEN nämlich - das verstehe wer will - ohne Vertragspartner.

Hier das offizielle Statement von Mr. Altus auf der bandeigenen Webpage:
"In a few weeks we'll be entering the studio to record some of the songs that we've been working on. It's going to be more of a pre-production demo kind of thing so we plan on recording 2-4 songs. We have about 12 to choose from but we narrowed it down to about five since those songs are the most complete. I know that we've been taking our time on writing this thing, but we just want it to be a worthy follow-up to our other albums."

Desweiteren haben die Jungs einen neuen Bassplayer - Jon Torres -der kein Unbekannter in der Bay Area metal Szene ist, spielte er doch schon in Bands wie THUNDERHEAD, WARNING SF, ULYSSES SIREN, LAAZ ROCKIT und ANGEL WITCH.
