Ronnie James Dio has passed away and my sorrow runs deeper than words can describe. When the world became a colder place, Ronnie was a symbol of fire and honesty. His magic will forever stay with me, and inspire me to go on.
My thoughts go to his wife Wendy, his family and friends, in their devastating loss. I will honor Ronnies memory, and he will always live in my heart and music.

Ausnahmestimme Jorn Lande hat darüberhinaus postwendend ein Tribute Albun mit dem passenden Namen "Dio" aufgenommen, welches am 2. Juli in Europa und am 27. Juli in den USA via Frontiers Records in die Läden kommen wird. Das Album wurde von Tommy Hansen in den Jailhouse Studios abgemischt.

Mit ein paar weniger bekannte Songs und ein paar echten Klassikern von Dio hat Jorn eine Sammlung von Songs zusammengestellt und ihnen noch seine eigene Note verliehen. Das Album wird auch einen neuen Song enthalten zu welchem es ein Video aufgenommen von Thomas Tjader (Pretty Maids, In Flames) gibt. Jorn sagt, dass er den "Song for Ronnie James" als ein Tribut und ein persönliches "Dankeschön" an den Mann der über 35 Jahre sein Mentor war geschrieben hat. Dieser großartige Mann hätte sein Leben und Seine Karriere so sehr beeinflusst, dass Jorn ohne ihn nicht der Künstler wäre, der er heute ist.

"Throughout the years I have had the privilege of both meeting and working with many of the musicians that have inspired me on my musical journey. Ronnie James Dio has inspired me through decades, and this man's influence continues to add colour to my creative spirit. Ever since the first time I heard his royal roar back in the '70s, I have been fascinated by this extremely talented man's creative force and dedication to music. His career has been going on for so long and includes so many great songs that it was a challenge to decide which songs and what era to focus on. I ended up focusing on the Dio era."
