OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Peter Böhm, bass player and founding member of the band has left DARKSIDE shortly after the return of the band from their european tour with MORTICIAN and CARNAL FORGE. The reasons he stated to the remainiNg members of DARKSIDE via sms were that according to his opinion the band is trapped in a musical one-way street and that also imagewise the band is at a dead end, overthemore he has nothing more to give to the band musicwise. Of course Peter contributed a lot to the development of the band in the past and so it will be hard to replace him. For the moment all band activities have been stopped.
